Big news about pickleball just came in! Major League Pickleball (MLP, you know, the one backed by Margaritaville) and DUPR (Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating) have announced they're teaming up to kick off college and junior pickleball programs. Pretty cool, right?

This means MLP and DUPR will be working together with partners in both college and youth sports to create a super fun, organized way for kids and college students to play pickleball. They're gonna use MLP's rules and structure, along with DUPR's ratings, to make sure it's all connected to the pro level.

Just last month, MLP and DUPR got the ball rolling (see what I did there?) with the first ever individual National Championship for Collegiate Club Pickleball in Fort Worth, Texas.

Over 20 schools joined in on the action! And guess what?

The DUPR Club Team National Championships are coming up in November in Peachtree Corners, Georgia.

"Part of our long term strategic view has been to integrate junior and college pickleball into our existing ratings and competition structure. We are excited to announce our commitment to these two new verticals, our first step towards connecting the entire pickleball pathway under one organization." - Steve Kuhn, the founder of Major League Pickleball and DUPR

So, get ready, pickleball fans – big things are coming!
