Major League Pickleball's Bay Area Breakers have reached an exclusive sponsorship agreement with Nissan. The team's lone car sponsorship, the Breakers' jerseys will feature the Nissan logo on them for the rest of the season.

The Breakers and Nissan have strong ties to the Asian American and Pacific Islanders community, making this partnership a natural fit.

“We are excited to welcome Nissan Motors as a key partner of the Bay Area Breakers,” said
Bay Area Breakers' general manager Geoffrey Nguyen. “Nissan’s dedication to innovation and
innovation and excellence aligns perfectly with our team’s values and ambitions. We look
forward to a successful collaboration that enhances the experience for our players and
fans alike.”

The Breakers are one of 10 teams in MLP's Challenger Level, the second highest level of play in the league behind the Premier Level. The Breakers currently rank fourth in the 2024 Challenger Level standings, with 12 points. Only the Atlanta Bouncers and Brooklyn Aces, who each have 15 points, rank ahead of the Breakers.

The Breakers will return to league action later this month during MLP Salt Lake City, which begins on July 25. They have matches against the Las Vegas Night Owls, California Black Bears, and SoCal Hard Eights during the event. They will also play at future events this season including MLP Kansas City in August, MLP Virginia Beach in September, and MLP Las Vegas in October. Their jerseys with the new Nissan logos will be on display during all of these matches.
